Mexican Ambassador to China, Seriken Aiskamia, stands on the platform of the National Silk Road Aurora: Silk scarves weave new threads of cultural exchange between China and Mexico
When the orange gift box of National Silk Aurora was handed over to the Mexican Ambassador to China, Seriken Aiskamia, at the event, this fabric, which embodies Eastern silk craftsmanship, became a bright new thread in the cultural exchange between China and Mexico.
As an important partner of friendly cooperation between China and Latin America, the cultural connection between Mexico and China has always been diverse – from the mysterious totems of the Maya civilization to the delicate embroidery of Chinese silk, the resonance of “beauty” transcends mountains and seas. The visit of Ambassador Sireken to Aurora not only recognizes the integration of traditional Chinese intangible cultural heritage techniques and modern design, but also extends China Mexico exchanges from economic and trade cooperation and cultural tourism interaction to specific scenarios of life aesthetics.
National Silk Aurora uses silk scarves as a carrier to weave techniques such as Su embroidery and silk weaving into contemporary aesthetics, while Minister Siriken’s interaction allows this Eastern texture to be embedded in the daily narrative of China Mexico friendship in a lighter way: when the passionate colors of Mexico meet the gentle texture of Chinese silk, this silk scarf becomes a “micro link” for cultural exchange between the two countries, making distant distances soft in aesthetic resonance.
